On April 23 and 24, 2019, a three-person team from Caterpillar’s ​​BGPP paint review team visited our company to systematically systemize our company’s 3 coating lines (2 paint lines, 1 powder spraying line) Audit and give guidance to our company’s newly-built oil pipe powder spraying line. The audit items cover production equipment, testing equipment, document records, personnel qualifications, operating documents, raw materials, finished product status and other links.

 

On the morning of the 23rd, the audit team held a brief kick-off meeting in the oil pipe plant area, and was accompanied by our paint engineer to conduct an on-site audit. The audit team carefully checked the on-site conditions, found some problems in our company's process and put forward valuable opinions, such as: the parameters of the pre-treatment tank are out of standard, the cycle of replacing the filter cotton is unreasonable, the timer of the degreasing tank is not used, and the transfer is in progress. There are problems such as bumps, etc., I have put forward valuable opinions on the process control of our company. At the same time, we have fully affirmed the pre-treatment level control, furnace temperature test, and pre-treatment increase CPK control of our company last year. The company's newly built powder spraying line was praised.

BGPP is a comprehensive evaluation of the supplier’s product surface treatment ability and process control ability in the form of audit. The main purpose is to help suppliers improve the spraying ability of the factory and provide suppliers with good coating-related work methods. And management methods to help suppliers control well and increase the pass rate of one off-line. Our company’s BGPP audit score this year averaged 84.2 points, an increase of 3 points compared to last year. It has been recognized by customers and is ready to win more market opportunities.
